Development & Ideas
This brief is creating a brand for a company selling sustainable kids clothing. I wanted to make the brand logo and colours appealing to children, whilst still making it look clean and professional to appeal to parents.
I wanted the name to be something along the lines of a slang term for children, because I wanted the name to reflect the 'fun' feel of the brand. I also looked at other clothing brands with bright colour schemes and interesting and friendly fonts to get some inspiration.
Final Outcomes
For the logo I decided to make the letters out of place and from a friendly wave/curve shape. I also went with primary colours because they help to enforce the fact that Rascals is a kids brand just through the use of colour. These colours are also fairly unisex and allow for a cheerful colour scheme to be developed as part of the brand.
